If you want to try some nice local food you have to go here. It is upstairs in an alley. The owner does everything himself. It is small but very nice and easy going. The good we had was really good and tastefully. The prices are average but really worth the money.

This was our favourite meal in Indonesian so far! Felt strongly compelled to review this place as it's a wee bit off the main road and could easily be missed and we were the only people in the restaurant on our visit so it's obviously being missed! The food is not traditional Indonesian, rather its more of a fusion -... More

Nice place close to Malioboro and the main station, the small roof is quite calm and relaxing. They serves good dishes but cooked in international style. Full of tourists (actually only tourists!) because this restaurant is into the Lonely Planet guide, and for this reason is very very expensive (about 3 time the average).ok for tourists is anyway cheap, but... The location was good in google but not in trip advisor. The restaurant is a grill of western food, not indonesian food. You have to order in the counter. The meat was too much well done.

I have been there with my girlfriend and we took the pork rendang (Indonesian dish) in a bun, with cheddar. A mix of western and Indonesian food which was really good and inexpensive (45k RP). Little choice, but very good quality. The drinks are quite expensive compared to the dishes. Unfortunately it is not well located on tripadvisor so very... More

The place is quite difficult to find, but it is very quiet and relaxing, which is very nice since it is quite close to the busy centre of Yogyakarta. Good food, long waiting time even when you are the only guests in the whole place.

This quiet little place is tucked down an alley, but Google Maps has the correct location so it should be easy to find. In the past, this little restaurant was known for its grilled meats. Not so anymore! They opened another restaurant Atap Grill that serves the grilled meats. On the bright side, they make a good burger and great... More

The cafe was not easy to find. We were the only customers. This restaurant no longer serves pork or many of the other items you might see advertised. They opened another restaurant that does. We had hamburgers and fries that were very good.

Pros - Chicken sateh was ok - Nice atmosphere Cons - The beef rendang was in hindsight one of the worst dishes we had in Indonesia. The beef was not juicy and the dish was basically only rice and meat. - There a lot of better options to have dinner in Jogja.
