Caprice is not a 2 Michelin starred restaurant for nothing as it proves itself to have the best modern French cuisine in this part of the world. Well designed classy interiors complimenting the dinner fare, it was worth the 3 year wait!!! Kenneth and Dino took care of us that night and ensured that we were satisfactorily fed. Those langoustines... More

The staffs have done an excellent job of keeping up their standards since their executive chef left at the end of January and the new hire won't be there until May, and also the manager was promoted and moved to Beijing. Our favorites this month are the Warm Fine de Claire Oyster, Jerusalem Artichoke Velouté and Roasted Pork Chop. We... More

This is our fourth visit to Caprice and we thoroughly enjoyed our family birthday lunch. As always, the service impeccable and the dishes created with passion. The chefs seem to be able to make the ordinary spectacular! Each dish is beautiful presented and full of surprising flavours - a work of culinary art! The current lunch menu has US beef,... More

We were staying overnight at the Four Seasons and decided to try this fabulous restaurant - wonderful tasting menu with a lovely substitute for the first course (due to a food allergy) - serving team are friendly, attentive and genuinely interested in the guests. No official wine pairing but the lovely sommelier created a "just right" pairing for the tasting... More

What a treat to come back to Caprice after 4 years! We had a table by the window and enjoyed the lit up buildings of Kowloon while savouring the exquisite food! Although we thought we had ordered wisely form an appetite point of view, with the amuse bouche and pre and post desserts offered we left wondering how turbot could... More

I don't normally appreciate restaurants situated in large hotels as I never feel that the staff are overly invested in its outcome as much as a privately owned establishment. Caprice never gave me that feel, only a positive approach to every interaction that I had with them. This restaurant has stunning views and an elegant bar worth a pre-dinner drink.... More

Quite the really nice dining experience. Probably the best steak I've had since being in Asia (3 yrs). Great wine list. Impeccable service! Not inexpensive but definitely worth it for any special occasion.

My wife and I recently ate here and we each had the fixed menu so as to experience everything the kitchen had to offer. The service is superor and very attentive and the food is fantastic. Expect a long sitting as there are interludes between many of the courses that stretch things out - I wouldn't plan anything other than... More

Wonderful evening, wonderful staff. Cannot fault unless you are on a budget. A delightful venue with excellent French food. Service impeccable. Had a look a the intimate bar adjoining, and had a tour of the cheese room. The chefs table looks like a great option as well.

We are back here again for a birthday celebration and the lunch was fabulous. This time it is even better as we had a good view of the Victoria harbour. From the appetizer to the mains and finally ended with a dessert, all were splendidly executed by a fantastic service team. The whole ambience make it so nice and special... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
