My usual stop for wanton noodle here!! Still very good! Love the tangy texture of the noodle. What was excellent is that it is open from 11am till 1am!!

Ordered the Shrimp wonton soup, braised pig knuckles and beef brisket/tendons. Soup was very flavorful and the shrimp wonton tasty. Prefer noodles a little softer and more eggy, but they are hand made and cooked intentionally al dente. The pig knuckles also flavorful, but should be cooked longer to be more tender. The beef brisket a little tough. Worth going... More

I love the wanton noodles from this place. There's a huge variety of noodle dishes to choose from. The shrimp wanton and dumpling noodles are very good. Stock is very flavorful. Soup and dry versions of the noodles are available.

Pig knuckles was very tender and the serving was very generous. Noodles were perfect... a must try! We also tried the wonton noodles soup which was equally delicious. The servers also knew how to entertain foreigners. Just point to what you want at the menu placed on the tabletops...

It is a hole in the wall, no nonsense, noodle place with a great wonton soup. It was about 7:30pm on a Tuesday, it was busy and we were seated with a stranger. No big deal and I wanted to talk with her but I am self conscious of my broken-Cantonese to do so. I plan to go again on... More

Arriving just in time for lunch...after 2 days anticipating. We were here on Saturday late night and the shop was running out of wontons noodle and they were closed on Sunday. Order a bowl of shrimp dumpling and a bowl pork/shrimp dumpling to follow as the bowl is much smaller than I anticipated. Best dumpling noodles I have in a... More

Ordered one bowl of shrimp wanton noodles and another bowl of shrimp wantons. Instantly liked them! The broth tasted just awesome while each wanton contained two shrimps. The noodles, I think they are egg noodles, came with crisp texture but were very easy to bite. The place felt warm and trust me, after walking all day surrounded by the cold... More

This noodle shop has been operating in Wanchai for at least half a century. It is one of the last few remaining shops that uses a long bamboo staff in kneading egg noodle dough. Purportedly, this way of kneading will result in noodles with firm, chewy texture. I tried this shop from time to time. Like many eateries in Hong... More

Wanton dish was great, but noodle tastes weird. And this restaurant smells like a mop.. Wanted to leave asap while I was eating food there.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
