Small hole in wall type of restaurant. Its basically a no frills type of place that serves excellent shrimp wanton noodle soup. It maybe a bit expensive for the small serving when you compare it with other noodle place but their shrimp wanton is unlike...More

A friend took me here for lunch whilst I was in Hong Kong. Small, busy place with a nice crowd and quick table turnovers. Shared a table (a very typical local practice in Hong Kong). Ordered a bowl of pipping hot wanton noodles each and...More

Portions are small and perhaps not as good as the wan chai shop houses selling beef brisket. I actually visited the 19 Lock road branch in Tsim TSA Tsui just behind isquare. At $52HKD a meal it’s a decent feed and the brisket is tender...More

We went there to try the famous prawnnoddle noddle soup with high expectations. However, nothing presented us was not even 2nd time worthy. Soup was plain and prawn wontons weren't cooked properly. Big disappointment. Nothing special and tasty.

Portion was just nice for an afternoon snack. Don’t be expecting to be full from the portion. Delicious and tasty. I ordered shrimp wontons but bf preferred the braised beef brisket. Get both and you can share :)

This is the only restaurant under this name; not to be confused with Mak's noodle which is a chain; this one is cooked in the traditional way; the wanton is juicy and filled with pork and other ingredients; the noodle is springy; price is reasonable.

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong

their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in
