Should be one of the best Japanese food in Hong Kong. Not cheap but reasonable with the good quality. However, a little mistake made me disappointed. When I ordered a set lunch with cold udon, it came to be a hot one. The waitress who served me the hot udon noted the mistake before hanging me the udon but she... More

Outside of Japan, Hong Kong (& maybe Taiwan) possibly offers the highest number of Japanese restaurants per capita. Of the many choices in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST), Unkai has become my go-to place . It is by no means the cheapest, but a good-named hotel offering lunch sets that start from hkd300 is actually a good deal in this pricey... More

This is a great restaurant. The sushi is extremely delicious. It's like dining in Japan. A must go if you are in the neighborhood and love Japanese food.

I'm not fond of teppanyaki but the restaurant offers really good alternatives. We sat at a table far remove from the hot plates and so not bothered by the smell. There were so many choices on the menu that it was hard to chose what to have. The Kaiseki looked very nice but, instead we opted for the Tempura dinner,... More

I expected better service and food quality considering the prices of dinner course menu. At first, I had two different courses for me and my wife, and then they served two different starter without any explain. How do I know which starter is mine? From the starter, I and my wife started to be afraid that we would have bad... More

I wanted to have a nice and relaxing dinner. But experienced the opposite. We ordered a 6 course meal and sashimi platter. Total amount of 2100 HK dollars includes 10% service charge. (240 Euro's) The whole dinner took us less than 40 minutes. Service was really really BAD! We were still busy to finish a course and they bring the... More

We tried this restaurant as we were staying at the Sheraton and are pleased we did! Although you don't get the view of the Harbour the food is fantastic. We had a set teppanyaki meal and added some tempura and vegetables for two of us. This was more than enough food! We were sat in a small room that could... More

We were at this restaurant many years ago. This time we went to celebrate my sister's birthday. Granted the place is not cheap, but the food was excellent. My son had the tempura dinner course. He really enjoyed the shrimp and the other fried veggies. He also liked the soup. My husband and I both had the sushi dinner course.... More
