Went for lunch. Very nice lunch sets. Recommend the fish and chips. Fish was great tasting batter just a little greasy. Chips fresh, crispy and hot. Hamburger was also very good. Have had their pasta lunch set before and that was very good! Will be back. Came right at opening and staff was not in their customer service mode yet!😒

I'm always conflicted when I visit King's Belly - which is regularly. The selection of bottle and tap beers are outstanding, it has plenty of sports on TV's, seating is comfortable, and the service is great... until they get busy and then a lasso is required. The big challenge is anything not a standard beer - bar staff struggle to... More

This is a nice British pub serving really good fish and chips. It tries to cater to beer drinkers but does not understand modern tastes. 5 international lagers on draft plus Spitfire and Guinness . Lots of bottles of fairly mainstream British beer plus a few others. But no local craft beer. With such a good and developing beer scene... More

Like other writers, I go here fairly often. The range of drinks is very impressive and the food is really, really good! If you live in the NT and want a pub meal, some great grog, sports TV or a newspaper or mag to read, then this is the PLACE. Their cider range is impressive and includes Sheppy's, and their... More

I go here a lot and the staff are good at keeping an eye on your "emptying" glass! Good to meet up with friends, open front to watch the locals whip by and especially good on a Friday night when most of the expats in Tai Po descend on the place to have a laff and (If you are heading... More

Kings Belly is indeed a bit of a find. Look for it behind the HK Jockey Club. But worth a visit after a bike or hike for a nice beer and good food at fair prices. Not many places like this in the New Territories. We did have the smoked salmon platter and a burger. Both absolute good and value... More

A traditional British and sports pub located in Tai Po, New Territories. Not well sign posted and tucked in an alley, King's Belly is a non-smoking, popular watering hole for British expats and a number of locals. King's Belly do a set Sunday roast, offer a number of good draft beers, well stocked bar and a good selection of a... More
