We went there a couple of times. We arrived there first time at 3pm which they have closed their menu order like all the ala carte menu. They only have a few dim sum menu left on the counter. The second time we went, we managed to arrive at 12noon. Everything you wished for is available and we even took... More

As muslim travellers, we are always on the lookout for nice local halal food. ICC offers lovely Cantonese food that had us coming back almost daily during our stay in HK. Even if you are a non-muslim, do give this place a visit!

Friendly atmosphere, excellent choice of dim sum. This is one of the few places in Hong Kong where you can eat halal dim sum. The value is very good. Head towards the 5th floor of the Wanchai Mosque, and either take the menu (with photo) or the dim sum form and tick what you want (you can also show what... More

I love the foods! Although 'a bit' pricey but it is worth it. At first we are a little lost searching for the restaurant but we met indonesian ladies walking around and they happily show us the location. It is in the Mosque and on level 5. They will give you some kind of forms and you will bring it... More

Went for the Dim Sum one morning. It was fantastic. No trip to Hong Kong can be complete without Dim Sum. So if you want Halal food, this is the place to go. Also went for the Cantonese food, which was great as well. Really worth coming here to eat.

Situated at 5th floor of Masjid Ammar And Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre, this is the must try restaurant for halal dim sum lovers. Place a bit crowded during lunch hour.

The Canteen opens at 10am and closes at 9pm. As our hotel is just next door, this canteen was pretty much our daily breakfast destination. If you are in a hurry, stick to the dim sum. Make sure you bring the order sheet to the dim sum counter and select the ones you want. They will update the sheet according... More

Went in the morning at 10am for dim sum breakfast. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. Ordered dim sum at the dim sum counter just by pointing at the pictures. Dim sum tasted great especially the Siew Mai. A must-go place.

This is one best place to get your halal dim sum and halal Chinese cuisine. The place is always full and busy especially during the weekend and you have to wait for a couple of minutes to get your table. The price is also quite reasonable and highly recommended.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
