Went to Din Tai Fung for the first time with family and friends from out of town who insisted to eat Asian food. Got this tip from a local friend who recommended DTF to me as a perfect venue to give my out-of-town friends a...More

Service and food exceptional. We had several dishes - all fresh and with amazing flavours. Love the ginger on the table freshly sliced individually. Had a baby with us- they weren’t fazed at all.

Don't know if it was because we were holiday or not but the food tasted different to the ones in Sydney. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance during one of our shopping walks in Hong Kong. Every new dish we tried was delicious and...More

Xia long bao is good but there are many other Shanghai restaurants that can do the same. Great formula for the owners though. Great publicity for the second generation owners. Not worth the effort to wait. And prices are much higher than it's worth.

Nice place to go, one of the best dim sum in Hong Kong. Famous but it worth it to go there, maybe a little bit expensive

We travel primarily to eat and this was the best meal we had in HK during the week we were there. Yes, it's a chain and yes, it may be cliche to go there as opposed to more local favorites, but there's no denying that...More

Dumplings are not the only dish that is recommended. Just everything is about great. Sit and enjoy! And ask for more

This is our favourite Din Tai Fung branch. Very efficiently run & consistently good. We typically try to get there before noon to avoid long wait. The shanghai dumplings will not disappoint.

Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of
Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and
restaurants, both areas are bustling with people –
tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the
highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more
polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart.
