Up there with the best Tarts we've eaten. Been to the TST outlet a number of times over the last few years and their eggs Tarts are always consistently good - very fresh and tasty for only $HK5 each.

Went regularly for breakfast buns to this shop in Mong Kok near the Dorsett hotel. Huge selection of different Chinese buns and cakes all fresh. They also do loaves including, coconut and delicious blueberry.

There are plenty of its outlets on the island. I went to the one near Mongkok MTR station. Freshly baked egg tarts are warm and came with flaky crust. $5 each is very reasonable.

The egg tarts at hkd5 each are excellent. Pastry is light flake slightly crispy. The egg custard is so smooth and soft that it barely holds its shape. As an egg tart fan I have tried all the so-called famous shops in Hong Kong and many others besides. I would strongly recommend visitors who enjoy good food to not restrict... More

We went to Hoixe Cake Shop located near our hotel at King's Road, North Point. There was a wide selections of pastries, cakes, breads and rolls. We bought "char siew soh", chicken pies, egg tarts and sponge cakes - all taste so good and very reasonably priced too. I love the egg tarts which were fresh and soft. The chicken... More

This is a wonderful bakery . Walking around Wan Chai, you can't help but wander in. Excellent variety and inexpensive. Really tasty. Locals and visitors alike.

A great find as we toured around Hong Kong, jet lagged and missing breakfast each day. A shop visited by locals who stream in and out before or after work, it had everything we would want for a quick breakfast snack. Savoury pastries, sausage rolls/baps, cakes, custard tarts etc etc. You choose what you want and place it onto a... More

A friend told me about the Hoixe cake shop egg tarts. Unfortunately the shop was already closed when we reached the Cameron Road outlet. The next day we wandered around Jordan and found another Hoixe shop. Bought back 6 egg tarts and on our last day we brought 26 pieces home to Singapore. One egg tart costs HKD$4. I also... More
