This is a comtinued sharing of my experience in this restaurant. I really have to thank the manager of this restaurant, Mr Runciman, for his effective handling of customers' needs. I have visited this restaurant for a couple of times, and it has been always good except last time. We decided to try it out one more time and returned... More

For Thai food I was not that satisfied yesterday. I had the spicy vermicelli noodle with minced pork and the portion was very small and just okay, nothing special. I then had the Salmon main and it was a bit over cooked for my liking and dry. The sauce was nice, but a little less well done would have been... More

If the main courses could come after the appetisers, I and my friend would be eating more comfortably in a small table.

We booked this restaurant through Chope app and this restaurant was promotion a 2 for 1 Tues, meaning that every 2 patrons could receive a free main dish. We , in a group of 4, were seated at around 6 pm and the restaurant was not busy at the time. We were also confirmed that the promotion was valid. However,... More

We went to Koh Thai on a Saturday evening. The setting is lovely but the food was terrible. We ordered squid and spring rolls which both tasted of nothing. There was so much batter on the squid I peeled most of it off to get at the good stuff and even the squid tasted tasteless and chewy. For a main... More

Koh Thai got something mandatory each time we get to Hong Kong. First evening, Koh Thai! The food is amazingly fresh, full of flavors and taste, the waiters fast, the crowd trendy and the music indulging.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have eaten in outside of Thailand. The food is prepared to ultra high standards and the presentation and service are second to none.

We have dined at Koh Thai twice this week during our 5 day stay in HK. We have been very impressed on both occasions. The first floor open terrace has a real charm about it with the busy goings on of Wan Chai district happening down below; very atmospheric. We enjoyed the giant prawns in a yellow curry on the... Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
