25 minutes of waiting for a drink, useless staff. Gave up and left. The bread is actually quite good so its a real pity that this place can't get even the basics right. An emabrrament to whoever runs this place.

We went to the sheung wan branch for breakfast after seeing the signs for world's best bacon sarnie and were left pretty disappointed. Service was fine and food was ok but the surroundings are like something from Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmare. In the food display cabinet there was lots of food that did not look at all fresh, the supposed... More

While I've lived in Stanley for four years, and would truly like to be able to enjoy this bakery, it's simply not possible. Their products aren't particularly fresh (bought a loaf of bread there one morning and by the evening it was covered in blue mould - must have been an older loaf, which they didn't tell me, and still... Yes, it was Sunday afternoon and busy, but that's no excuse for terrible service and outright rudeness. We had to chase someone down and beg her to clean off a table for us. We probably should have left then but we were hungry and had two children with us. You have to go to the counter and order and pay... More

Quite a tourist trap. Prices not shown on items, false price given when asked. I was charged 160 HKD for two small (ok tasting) tarts and a water. My best advice is to avoid the place.

We dropped by to get a take away cake. We were told quite rudely to "wait a few minutes" with a "talk to the hand" motion by a Caucasian lady with unkempt hair whom we presume is the owner (an employee would be / should be fired for that bird's nest esp in a bakery/cafe). The cake was then unceremoniously... More

I have never experience such bad service. My wife and I ordered breakfast and waited for over 45 minutes. The breakfast was poorly made and overpriced. Coffee is nothing special. The worst thing is the attitude of the owner. She let you feel that she didn't want your business. Wish I had never been there.

When Saffron was still in Tai Tam and later on the first floor of Stanley Plaza, it was actually quite nice. Since they moved a few years ago, service has gone downhill, prices went up considerably, quality became worse, male owner is rude, tables not cleaned, slow service, often no croissants at breakfast time. There are far better options in... More
