The staff could barely speak English and every question about the menu they assumed to be an item in my order. The food is very sour (I ordered the Benedict breakfast) - was the worst two-egg breakfast of my life and costed me 100hkd. The waiter was very arrogant and kept standing next to my table holding my order and... More

This is a simple cafe, they have good coffee and a basic menu, which makes it great for breakfast or mid day coffee + snack

Great café to eat at when staying at the hotel. Good for smaller meals. Friendly staff and good prices.

I used to come here very often when I lived in Sheung Wan, is a very nice and comfy cafe, with amazing salads (the Moroccan eggplant and the beetroot salads are to dye for), and quiet enough to go work or read without getting disturbed. Every time I pass by, I have to stop and have at least a coffee.

We had vouchers from our hotel to eat here for breakfast. It was great on the weekend: freshly squeezed juice and very friendly and quick service. But on Monday morning the kitchen seemed off: coffee took forever, the juice was not fresh and the eggs were undercooked. Not sure what happened. Nonetheless it was a convenient and good place to... I love this place, and it's just down the road from me! I go here a few times per week and can say it's a breath of fresh air away from the busy streets of Hong Kong, and usually overcrowded restaurants. Friendly staff (unfortunately rare in HK), great variety of food, quick service and good ambience. I recommend- although don't... More

Great restaurant for the hotel next store. Its always packed as it's small and has good food at a good price. The staff were really nice and very accommodating.

Cafe O Arbuthnot Road Hong kong - what happened? Have been there a few times in the last week and sorry to say the food choices have reduced - the salads are limo, look old and not fresh at all, the fridge is not well stocked of food at all, the staff service was dreadful - staff just seem to... Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
