We were wondering around Lan Kwai Fong looking for a place to eat lunch and seen the sign for this place, prices looked reasonable, and it had a couple of vacant tables. Food was good, prices were acceptable, (not over-priced like many places in this area), service was fast and friendly, free Wi-Fi. Obviously a brew house, but no one... More

Food was very good and service as well. Huge selection of bottled beer and several on tap too. Had chicken fingers and quesadilla. Standard bar food but seemed well prepared and slightly more upscale.

Nice little pub at the middle of Lan Kwai Fong. Great selection of beers, plenty of peanuts for free. They have outside seating too great spot for people watching. Good service.

It was late afternoon on a cool Hong Kong day that my wife and I stopped at the HK Brew House for a drink. I was blown away by the range of beers, and quickly settled into the spirit of the place, deciding on "London Pride" lager. It was cold and excellent, so I had a few more while shelling... More

Lively little place with plenty of character if you can ignore the 5 thousand peanuts on the floor and the sticky tables. A popular place with a good selection of beers.

Popped in on our travels around Lan Kwai Fong district of Central for a couple of beers, pleasant staff and atmosphere, a few expat office workers tapping away on laptops added to the relaxed atmosphere. Usual Hong Kong silly prices for beers but happy hour makes it more bearable ( in school I was told an hour was 60 minutes........ More

They have a good selection of beers and the prices are decent. Service is also good and the bar is not very noisy so you can actually have a decent conversation. There is an endless supply of peanuts.

这是在兰桂坊的一间非常普通的酒吧餐厅。餐食味道也普通、服务环境非常一般。This is one of the many dowdy bars in Lan Kwai Fong. Food, service and environment are all very ordinary.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
