The chef must have had a bad day today as we didn't think that the meals were nowhere near as good as all the reviews we have read led us to believe. The food was Chinese equivalent of fast food Chinese as the food came...More

The food is average and the prices are ridiculously expensive for what you get. You can find any number of dim sum restaurants with better quality and much more affordable prices in the area. Save yourself the money on nostalgia. I'd give this place a...More

Its location has changed over the years but the atmosphere has stayed the same. It's the last of the old-style Hong Kong tea houses with a decor that is reminiscent of the inter-war years. When I first came here many years ago it was affordable...More

This is a traditional Hong Kong dim sum restaurant. The food is prepared like what it is in the older days - above average taste but not delicately done. It is over priced though. The service is old style and acceptable to me. In short,...More

This is the second time that we came here to try the food as it was recommended as one of the oldest restaurants in HK. The first time we came was a bit later in the afternoon (about 3pm) and then they told us that...More

Banished to third floor purgatory. Seated by the kitchen even when not busy and wouldn't move us. Not friendly. Slow service. Expensive by Hong Kong standards. Dumplings pretty good.

This is a world famous Dim Sum restaurant and is a must see in all the guide books. But I simply don't know why. The food is good but not great but it's the service that lets it down. The staff are not very attentive,...More

Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The
area widely known as Central is the major financial
hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up
to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of

This is a tiny restaurant and to go with a party of four is a squeeze. Hong Kong has many huge restaurants so find one that is more appropriate.
