If there is one restaurant to visit in HK - and you can handle spicy - this is it. The food here was (no holds back) spicy and every dish we had was delicious - but if I had to choose a favourite it would be the Shui Zhu Yu. We also had a refreshing cold plum juice drink, along... More

This 1 star Michelin place is good for both traditional Cantonese as well as spicy Sichuan hot pot. Service is very good and naturally very full most of the time. 1st timers must get advice from the manager on dish selection. Good food + good service = high price but recommended.....

The food here is quite average. It's not bad, but at the same time it's not really of the exceptional quality that you would normally expect from a restaurant with a Michelin star, nor does it justify the surprisingly high price (around 300HKD per dish average). We ordered 3 dishes, 2 different dim sums, 1 cold dish, and the final... More

The Sichuan food here is authentic and I like it that the waiter did not ask us the degree of spiciness we want. They just make it as spicy as the chef thinks it should be. I also like it that their dishes do come in small sizes good for 2 or 3 people especially for couples who are dining... More

The restaurant serve Sichuan style (hot and spicy) and Cantonese style. Dim sum and noodles are good. Not too pricy as it is inside hotel. Service is good and space is adequate. Traditional chinese decoration and not too overwhlemed. Location is bit far away from busy shopping area but easy access if taking the tram. Recommended if you want a... More

Family brought me here for truly excellent dim sum and absolutely delicious Sichuan. Given how crowded it was, I realize it is no secret to the foodcentric locals of Hong Kong already. The dim sum rivals Fook Lam Moon (another classic upscale dim sum 'for the tycoons'), much better than Lei Gardens or other well known dim sum places often... More

Written as a Hong Kong resident this place is the best. If you are visiting Hong Kong don't be tempted by the more touristy establishments such as red pepper . Go for real article. Delicious , not expensive relatively but traditional. Try the shui ju Yu or Ma la dishes . Top marks and one michellin star too boot

I came here with my family for dinner upon a recommendation from a friend that frequents HK. The place did not disappoint... We had the hot pot and the food was amazing! We had both meat and seafood and everything was so fresh. Service was also impeccable - staff was attentive without being suffocating. I guess I would expect nothing... More

Stayed at The Emperor Hotel and had dim sum at Golden Valley for lunch. The food was excellent (both the dim sum and other dishes we ordered off the regular menu), but it was a little more expensive than I would've liked. However, the ambiance is great, and the food is really spectacular. I haven't had much dim sum experience... More
