On last year's trip we came here every other day and loved it. The finnish-german guy in the bar was very nice and professional. This time, looking forward to a new visit, we encountered the worst and most unprofessional staff ever. We noticed other parties leaving the bar after waiting and waiting without ever even getting the chance to order.... More

Coming back to this place to meet a German friend for a Dinner. Since I was very hungry I ordered a grilled pork Knuckle, and had to wait for some time, but it was worth to wait, a very delicious piece I got, and seemed fresh grilled for that evening (Not warmed up, like often in some other places). And... More

I had two beers, white sausage and fries. The service was not great and the food was leaning towards disgusting. It was my impression that it was not fresh at all. I'm not sure the water used to serve the sausage was clean and the sausages and/or the mustard, had a very tangy taste. Not a good tangy but a... More

Popped in here for a few beers and bar food after a long day out trekking round the city - beer was fresh, varied and plentiful. The platters were served quickly with great sausage and cheese selections. A few other dishes and a few beers later we were done - but we certainly enjoyed the stuff we ordered!

I worked and lived in China for some years. I would have to come into HK quite often on business from the mainland and this pub was always on my list to visit. The beer tasted oh so good. And the German snacks and meals like Weiner Schnitzel and great grainy breads with pates' just topped the day off. Many... More

We went here on our last night in HK because it was close to the tailors and we had an appointment at 7.30pm. Had a drink first - and then went back for dinner. Wow, wow!! Menu is extensive, service was friendly (something that seems to be missing in lots of restaurants in HK), and the food was wonderful. My... More

We had planned to take friends to lunch at this restaurant but luckily changed our plans and dined there alone. The fact that the restaurant was empty on Saturday lunch time in Tsim Sha Tsui should have been a clue but we were hot, frazzled and starving. The table was sticky with the stale beer from the night before, the... More

Firstly - the beer is good and the staff are friendly. The place had a European atmosphere and for drinking it's clearly excellent as it is for the platters cold meats and sausages - every one seemed to enjoyed them. I however ordered the ribs - I have never tasted any thing less like ribs in my life - have... More
