Not as good as last time I visited in 2014 and maybe in danger of becoming a parody of itself and a tourist trap. Very expensive food (£110) for what we had which was the small portion of sizzling prawns, chicken & cashew nuts, rice, two large Tsingtao beers and the obligatory starting snacks and chinese tea. A very dear... More

Fabulous……had diced chicken, peppers, cashews…….as well as chicken fried rice. This is an adult restaurant. No unbathed backpackers, please. No NGO zealots, please. It is expensive…..and you cannot get a seat sometimes. I think they have the right formula……… Five-star food.....Five-star service

Invited here by a HK resident who has been eating here for 30 years. Excellent chilli prawns, good veg dishes and chicken dishes really tasty too. Nice atmosphere if you are here in a group and sharing dishes. Very much enjoyed my meal.

This place has been here for decades and is never disappointing. Make sure to call ahead as it's often very full. Solid Sichuan and other Chinese dishes. Very western accessible menu. Order the sizzling prawns!

Just back from a week in Hong Kong. We've been several times in previous years and returned to this restaurant as it's one of our favourites, why? the food is superb ! Try the sizzling prawns and the sweet and sour pork. The Peking duck is also superb. It's a clean, tidy and well presented place with efficient staff. It's... More

I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and every time I go back to visit now, this is one of the first places i go. It's legit, tasty, not-too-expensive Sichuan food. Must haves include the Chicken with peanuts, spicy (i think it's listed as kung po chicken in the english menu), and Garlic-chili sizzling prawns, and the pan fried... More

On our last night in HK. I wanted something spicy. Our hotel's concierge pointed us to Red Pepper in Causeway Bay - it wasn't very far so that's something good. The place looked like it came out from some cheesy Chinese movie - lanterns, tables, and the decor. We were seated near the wall which has a very *hot* yellow... More

The meal was OK, but not very good value for money, as it was mediocre at best. Tea was given without asking and was chargeable.

This place is an old restaurant I went to my first week here 15 years ago. Still the same fare and very good. If you like spicy food go there.

We were really surprised by the price of the food for the type of food we got. I guess we are used to eating out in nice restaurants in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur which of course are different prices and different cities. We had rice, chicken, beef and broccoli, one beer, two cokes and green tea and paid over 900... More
