The food was excellent. The crab was fabulous and we also ordered the chilli calamari and Chinese green vegetables which were delicious. The staff were not overly friendly and "threw" our plates down in front of us. I would go back for the food but...More

The crab itself probably needed a few more years of growing before it was untimely harvested and cooked. The spicy crumbly topping was delicious and improved all the other dishes we ordered, which were rather mediocre otherwise. I was told only one type of congee...More

The food is great. Even though the name of the place is "spicy crab," I usually don't order crabs or lobsters at restaurants -- a hassle/pain to crack/eat, and they are usually the pricier choices. I do order clams (spicy) and scallops (the one with...More

Can't speak Cantonese but can read the menu, so order a fixed set from the menu. The service is spotty, and don't expect good service unless you can speak Cantonese. The crab(1) comes with chili pepper & garlic topping and mantis shrimps(2) are fresh and delicious,...More

Good restaurant to sample local Hongkonese seafood. The highlights are definitely the spicy mantis shrimps and the typhoon shelter crab. Service can be inconsistent, the waiters on the ground floor have always been brilliant and fast, however I've had mediocre service a couple times when...More

Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of
Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and
restaurants, both areas are bustling with people –
tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the
highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more
polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart.

This is fine. Space is limited and the restaurant is usually crowded, so kids would need to remain at the table. There are "kid options" on the menu.
