We were walking the seafront and wanted a good meal. Climbed into the Four Seasons via this mall and really liked the terrace and the view of the harbour. Found our way in to the hotel and this place. Great view of the water. Sumptuous delicate food (at for-what-it-was good prices, not cheap). Great service, really delicate and attentive. Recommend... We had dinner, then lunch, and then dinner again within 4 days. Fantastic on each occasion. A lot of mention about their fantastic dim sums but their a la carte dinners are sublime. We tried not to repeat previous dishes so as to try out as many things as possible. Even those items without a chefs suggestion star were delicious.... More

I was so glad we went for lunch here and there were no white jackets, gloves and bow ties on the floor staff. They were all sleekly dressed in black smartly cut uniforms. The guys here are extremely helpful in answering my question on the food and attentive whenever we looked like we needed anything. Friendly service with a genuine... More

Our absolute favourite "home away from home" while in Hong Kong is the Chinese Restaurant Lung King Heen, where we enjoy good traditional Cantonese cuisine for lunch or dinner in a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful subtle decor, and with a splendid view to the harbour. Be sure to make reservations well ahead of your trip, especially if you would like to... More

Dim sum lunch. The menu is seasonal and features different items from time to time. Mostly classic dim sum items but with one or two premium ingredients (e.g. Yunnan ham, lobster, abalone) used in the preparation. Service was a tad inconsistent (table waiters were very attentive, front entrance greeters neglected to let us know that our table was ready). A... More

It was one of the best tim sum we've ever had in HK. Lovely decor with good ambience and a beautiful view of the harbour. Service staff was good and efficient but special mention goes to "Jackie", a young waiter with a warm genuine personality who gave us a wonderful dining experience. Our favourites were the baked whole abalone puff... More

I highly recommend dining at Lung King Heen for dinner. I dined with a party of 4, each with varying tastes and we all loved the meal. The service is 1st class and the view at night is spectacular.

As it has three stars it's naturally a pricey option but you get what you pay for and in this case you also get a bit more. Service is good and their abalone is delicious.

We were fortunate to get a table in this amazing restaurant as hotel guests. Our dinner began with being visited by the champagne selection trolley which is a great idea. Our champagne was beautiful and we remained with it for the entire dinner. There is an extensive wine list that was available with local guidance. Our dishes on paper don't... More

Food is amazing ...We have seen the past 10 years the decline of the Chinese cuisine and the raise of the Japanese cuisine ...And for a good reason ...Japanese out classes Chinese... But this restaurant is something Chinese cuisne should be proud of ...Only spectacular food , well presented... Desrves the 3 stars he has by all means...

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
