A restaurant in Knutsford Tce. We dined outside and had a few simple dishes and a glass of wine. Nice, quick, good service, great value.

We had our first meal in HK here at Heaven & Earth Bar & Restaurant. We were looking for a good resto to try out at Knutsford Terrace for lunch and came across this restaurant. There was a friendly waiter who eagerly invited us to go in and because of its cool, modern ambiance, we did not hesitate to enter.... More

This place is a hidden gem along the alley behind Kimberley Road. The alley is like a mini mini version of Lan Kwai Fong but the good thing is, this place is packed with locals and less touristy. I'd recommend to make reservations prior to making the trip there or if not, go early to avoid long queue as the... More

This place was recommended in our guide book but I was not impressed. It is located on a cute back road with a lot of other restaurants I would have rather tried. When we sat at our table they put a bowl of peanuts on the table for us. Being hungry we gobbled them up while we waited for our... More

We visited here a few times on our first trip to Hong Kong in May. Arriving in our hotel we walked a few 100 metres and stumbled across this place. I could go on forever about this place how good the food and ambience is here. The restaurant has a great range of true eastern dishes as well as true... More

This is the one in Kowloon; apparently there's another branch on Hong Kong Island. We stumbled on this one while walking down an interesting alley with a row of indoor/outdoor restaurants. good quality Chinese food -- had a wonderful braised short ribs with curry; hot and sour soup was thick with noodles and nicely spicy. Dumplings were average. Great price.

Wonderful old-world Chinese 'basement' atmosphere ..... Food quick and great. Our only reservation was that the cocktails tasted somewhat 'watered down'. Avoid the cocktails, amd You'll be sure to enjoy this place .....

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
