We have been coming here since 2008 (including its old location on lyndhurst terrace) when we were living in HK and now make an effort to revisit whenever we are back in the city. Not many places in SoHo/LKF survive as long as this place, but it is well deserved. The food has always been reliably excellent and the restaurant... More

Food was good n rich full of taste. The booking via Chope was easy and staff was very kind and helpful. The manager was a bit off as we were seated by the windows but he was not really listening to our request which was that the AC was blowing too strongly. Anyhow strongly recommend to go there as the... More

restaurants in hongkong...there are some :) - but this one was really remarkable. we went there by advice, could hardly find it. it's in the 3rd something floor, pretty weird. but normal for hongkong. when we came it was empty...and so i was a bit suspicious. but after ordering it filled up, at the end it was cramped with people...and... A friend this place based on reviews. It is in the lively Lan Kwai Fong area. We liked it and the Massaman curry was our favorite. Excellent. The ground pork with basil was super spicy even though we request mild. We recommend the spring rolls and chicken satay. The atmosphere is cozy--if you are by a window you can look... More

We were frequent diners at the old Cafe Siam on Lyndhurst Terrace, but this was the first time we'd visited the new restaurant. We were ushered into the rather soulless upstairs dining area. The catfish salad that we ordered for a starter was huge, far too much for two people, and oily and tasteless. The soft shell crab and stir-fried... More

The place had great thai food and had lots of vegeterian options which was a surprise as we were all vegeterians . The place has a great ambience.

I took my parents who were visiting for a lunch treat. The food was decent - not exceptional - but tasty, and the manager was very courteous. The trouble started after the close of the lunch hour. My parents and I were still finishing our meal when 3 waitresses came and started clanking cutlery and dirty dishes and talking at... More

Had the set lunch menu. I had their prawn speciality dish which was very tasty. Well presented and good portion. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Only downside was the waiter who walked off before we could order drinks and delivered the meals at separate times. One person had to wait for the starter, then had the starter and main pushed... Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
