High price for lousy service, cold food and warm coke. Location is nice. They advertise on Facebook live band every Saturday but that hasn't been true for ages. I guess they don't mind drawing people there on false pretenses. When this is pointed out to...staff all they say is: It wont happen again.... and charge full price.More

From cowrieshell to bamburi on a day and we have stop in big tree hotel..the cold beer was so nice after the trip and the seafood very tasty. We relaxed and observed the beach and ocean. Again soon we visit the restaurant.

Let me begin with bad aspects: wrongly oriented staffs, zero customer service, food barely mentionable. But prices and location is nice.

One can rent a lounge chair and spend a lazy day at the beach. On Sunday afternoons there a band and the food and service are commendable. A great place to go.

Nice play to stay. Affordable, next to the beach and cool atmosphere. Malindi Road is just a walk in distance.

Located in the southern part of Bamburi beach, next to The Pirates, it's a good place to enjoy beach life. Find your way to the beachside section in front and enjoy the breeze from the indian ocean and the excelllent seaview together with cold Tusker...beers. If you're in for more bar and restaurantfeeling go for the more indoor section on the right hand side. Cold beers and good food for reasonable prices. The rooms are basic and ok and good value for money . What I really miss is that it should be safety box in each rooom, so I hope for this next time.More

The view is good to look at from you seat but the service is extremely slow!!!! Having a drink is fine but the food just takes too long. The staff are friendly enough. The prices are ok.

Went there aug/Sep after long walk along beach most days lots working ladies I think more at weekends and old men all nationality drinks ok never ate there never saw the place very busy staff ok part of building crumbling away

Seeing as i was staying in Bamburi it was very accessible to me and loved it had a mix that could accommodate us and the kids. The beach was not crowded which was a plus considering it was the festive season.. Their mixed platter was...sumptuous just what we needed after a long hike in the park. and the prices equally friendly. You could do MUCH better with your washrooms and "changing rooms"...having just one stall with a 'leso' curtain as a changing room totally bogged me down...with the wind blowing-there was zero privacy and it wreaked of urine (granted this may be more the fault of the patrons than management). Found that totally unhygienic especially for the kids who wanted to go around barefoot. Also having one shower next to the entry path for people to wash off regardless of gender and again having it in the open is quite disturbing....Privacy is key. Also verandah/patio next to the beach was all cracked posing additional risk. Management definitely needs to look into those.More

I love this place.. Being on a budget trip to the coast, I wished i had discovered this place earlier into my trip at Azul magharita. Beers are relatively well priced compared to the other venues such as Yulz. I also had their club sandwich...and was blown away by the big portion sizes. However, the service can be slow. .and meals can take a while. But I can't complain because it's worth the wait.More
