This place is one of known Nairobi restaurant for fish. The places looks nice, and I had fish with ugali it was great but it take them forever to service it. I will say poor service.

Mama Oliech stands for it's name in delivering quality delicious food. First time going to this restaurant and I was not disappointed. The fish was well prepared and it kind of took me back to Kisumu where they make such awesome fish. Please try this restaurant out it's worth the hype.

Mama Oliech's restaurant is famed for it's fish and by all means lives up to it. It could be better if they served larger fish. See largest tilapia on the menu (pictured). Waiting staff are also too relaxed. Gathering in groups to converse rather than proactively attending to customer needs.

This local Kenyan restaurant is mainly about fish and specifically tilapia. You can have it fried, stewed, whole with a mix of local and traditional vegetables. You will find other types of food but go with the fish!

This place was located close yo my hotel so decided to get dinner from here after reading up on them. Good and bad move! Apparently they specialize in fish cooked local style (they also have the option of chicken though) which i do agree was super delicious but there service is so horribly off point. I make my way into... More

Had an authentic Kenyan meal there. Basically they serve fish, either dry or wet fried with rice or Ugali (hard mixed lump of maize flour common in all parts of Kenya and some parts of East Africa). You may want to enjoy it with some green vegetables such as Kales or black night shade leaves (Managu)- and yes they are... More

They fry their Tilapia very well and if you like yours really crunchy ask, and it shall be delivered. Their cocktail juice was very dilute so I would say, just have soda. The indigenous greens are also cooked very well.
