We went at around 11 pm after viewing a show. The service was pretty fast (after all we were the only ones there on a late night) and servers were nice. Great food at great prices.

Had a delicious solo lunch here when I arrived before my group. Enjoyed freshly made baba ganoush which was creamy and well seasoned. The molokhia took a little longer as it was freshly prepared and came with succulent chicken and sticky rice. Perfect meal to get into the Egyptian spirit. No dodgy belly. Will definitely go back.

The food if great but the restaurant in general could get even better if the focus more on customer service as some of the waiters act as they're not in a good mood, the ac is dripping and most of the waiters do not speak English.

Good tasty food palatable indeed. Great service as well. Free flow of local drinks. We had some problem locating the place because it was on the side street and not main road as indicated.

If you're looking for a decent place to grab something healthy and fresh to eat that doesn't hurt the pocket too much, this is your best bet in Zamalek. Great place for meetings/coffee as well.

Description
Cairo Kitchen is a new restaurant concept in Egypt that serves up traditional home-cooking in a fresh, contemporary setting. We offer a menu that combines some of the classics of Egyptian home-cooking and the country’s ubiquitous street cuisine, with an original salad bar that takes a fresh approach to local produce, serving it in new and creative ways. We’re paying homage to Egypt’s rich culinary traditions by proposing a new way of presenting and serving these “golden oldies” while staying true to the traditional recipes and ingredients. With bold interiors created by Egyptian architect and designer, Hassan Abouseda, the restaurant is a modern twist on Egypt’s traditional culture.
