I came all by myself, which seemed to be strange to the staff. Before I could enter, she told me that I would have to pay 45.000 Won (!) to get the menu and that there is no other choice. She seemed pretty unfriendly, so...More

This is a vegetarian restaurant located in a back alley around some corners. Inside it is like a temple, and in the center there is a space where in the evening they stage traditional dancing performances. There is no menu, which does not matter much....More

Lets start with the good things: The place was nice and warm. That's it. They don't speak English and is really difficult to understand what you are ordering if you can't communicate with them. They didn't offer us a chair, we seated on the floor...More

I like meat and prefer meat in most meals. So my review may be a little biased. Four of us went to Sanchon on a Saturday afternoon. We booked the table but the restaurant was quite empty. We should not judge the food based on...More

For the record, I know Korean dishes in general can be different. But given my experience, I can say that I've gotten used to how different these dishes are. So when we visited Sanchon for the very first time, I just thought that the food...More

Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small
neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects
of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional
Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts,
fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir
shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in
particular has become a local institution for its
unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops
