Warm yourself up in autumn with a bit of ginseng chicken and liquor. Be early to beat the long long queue at lunch time. My second visit to the place and I still find the food amazing (even thought the main dishes is all Samgyetang...More

I love everything about samgyetang. The main difference from other place - quality of ginseng and tenderness of chicken.

Filled with tourists, and staff were largely chinese rather than korean as i would expect of a traditional eatery with steep history! I suppose this is to deal with the large influx of tourists. the ginseng chicken soup was hearty if a little bit expensive,...More

This is the place to go for Samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup). The broth is tasty and the kimchi is super delicious. We had the wild ginseng samgyetang and a serving of the pancake. Pancake was thin and crispy, tasty! Service is not so great...More

Samgyetang is one of the delicacy that one must try in Seoul ! I like the soup so much and the chicken is cooked until very tender. It is near Gyeongbokgong too. Highly recommended!

This restaurant serves one of the best, if not the best, Ginseng Chicken Soup. The broth is rich in flavour and the spring chicken meat is tender and tasty. The chicken is stuff with glutinous rice flavoured with ginseng root, red dates, ginkgo nuts, etc....More

You can order the ginseng chicken for the adults & maybe side dish for the kids. They have the nice pancakes. You can have the option to sit on chairs though they tend to fill up the room for sitting on the floor.
