Really enjoyed this restaurant. Really good food - interesting dishes. Only four choices of main for lunch so the four of us tried a different one each. Not a scrap left! Obviously a favorite with the locals so not a great deal of English spoken but we managed! Would definitely go there again. You can watch videos of the chef... More

We had dinner at this cafe after reading all the great reviews on Trip Advisor. As most places in Noumea, staff spoke very little English but we managed to get by with our broken French. There are only four menu items presented on a chalk board to each table. The meals were fresh and tasty though simple flavours. Overall a... More

What a joy it is to go to a restaurant for lunch and to be offered such tantalising dishes! Everything we had was SO good and compared with what we would pay in Sydney, so reasonable. The menu changes constantly but whoever is in charge in the kitchen knows flavours and textures and delvers a beautifully balanced plate. Today we... More

After reading all reviews on trip advisor we booked here. Yes, it is very popular but not sure why. The language barrier was a huge barrier and we found this in most of Noumea. It made our experience in most eating places embarrassing and uncomfortable. There didn't seem to be a shortage of English speaking staff but they just didn't... More

The good reviews on Trip Advisor are well deserved. This is a simple little cafe in a lovely neighbourhood outside of downtown Noumea. The menu is limited and presented on a blackboard. Four Choices! All great. French comfort food- cassoulets predominate. The veal main was spectacular! So tender and tasty! A fine wine list. Great service. It is not fancy... More

This is one of the best restaurants in Noumea... probably because it's one of the tourist hotspot. Great food, great customer service. If you don't speak or understand French, ask them for a description and they will describe it for you as much detail as possible. However, don't ask for recommendations because they will definitely recommend every single item in... More

This is a lovely cafe tucked away from the main tourist area. Menu changes regularly and everything we tried was delicious! Make sure to save room for dessert. Reservations are recommended.

I was invited to the restaurant once and I was the only Carnivore at the table. Much to my surprise I couldn't eat any of their dishes. But the vegetarian dishes were very copious and to watch the others delight in their green dishes so it must be really good.
