Good service. Dined with my family on many occasions and we enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service.

Beautifully decorated new building. Huge seating for 600. Standing room for 1000. Classic Chinese style decor. Grandiose inside. Food too early to tell but the owners are the same as the center of the town one, a nd their food is good especially if you know what to order. Certainly worth finding for Chinese dinner. Will have a nice atmosphere

I always visit New Thriving restaurant when I visit Guyana, it usually has great food for a decent price. This time around I needed a quick lunch, so we decided to do the buffet which runs from 12pm to 3pm...I can say I've had better visits, it took a while for a waiter to seat us, even though the dining... This is the best place to eat chinese food in Guyana. The location at Main Street is clean and the food is good most days. The downstairs is cheaper than upstairs... but to me the food tastes better upstairs. They gave new branch in providence and it looks awesome... i totally recommend this Restruant.

Ate here back in 2010 for lunch and dimsum and the experience was really great! I have no doubt that the staff and waiters are very hard working. You can get a really delicious fruit punch here....it's one of their famous beverages. The food was really delicious and served in elegant ware. For appetizers, go with their wanton soup -... More

Good location with great outdoor patio. Food was above average. Waitor not very attentive considering it was a quiet Sunday night.

I've been to New Thriving a few times over the past ten years or so. The menu provides a wide range of Chinese dishes - much as you would expect in the USA or UK, and not at all like the same type of food that you get in most Chinese restaurants in Guyana. This means that prices are high... More
