I was told this place exists for a long time. Food is very good. Menu is not so huge but you will enjoy your meal. Staff is nice. No alcohol and no pork because hallal. Very good roti.

Remember that they do not serve alcohol and close about 2:30pm. Good space and "facilities", with a private air conditioned section if you wished. Good choice of food and plenty of it. Not sure they understood bunjal as compared to curry, but we'll let that one pass! All their fruit juices were local fruits and freshly made. The Guyana red... More

I love hacks for their food. They have dining-in and take-away service, cheap prices. Food is freshly done and tasty, service is quick but the restaurant needs upgrade. It nice enough to eat in but def not a plus, and service is just ok. Staff r friendly enough, but that's it. Menu is a bit basic, curry is the best,... More

We have been in Guyana for a few weeks and were recommended this restaurant as one of the places to dine. We finally made it and they didn't disappoint! We had chicken roti, potato roti and curried mutton. Delicious! Their fruit drinks are very fresh and we had a great waiter who accommodated my daughter's picky palate. The restaurant's atmosphere... Wonderful food. Truly an experience EVERY visitor should have! The prawn fried rice was soooo yummy and the sweets shop downstairs was amazing! I am taking points off because their bathroom was under construction and a piece of concrete almost fell right on my mom's head! The kicker is when we said something about it, the waitress didn't even apologize... More

the food is no doubt tasty, but what is wrong is the treatment of staff and the owner wife buy the owner. when i was there the owner had an argument with his wife of which he violently cursed and pelt her down, some of the customers started to complain and pleaded with him to stop, it was not a... Mutton curry and Roti is a must eat here. They have sweet meat and lots of Guyanese dishes to choose from. Another must visit if you are looking to taste authantic guyanese food in Georgetown Guyana.

To find this restaurant you need to know where it is, if not you probably would have to ask someone, the atmosphere is bad when you're inside mostly due to the noise outside (people yelling and cursing, loud music coming from buses that are parked outside), the only good side to this place is the food; one of the best... Amidst the busy, crowded streets of Georgetown I discovered a place called Hack's Halaal. Had the lamb curry once and then the chinese on another day. The food was good and the service was attentive and efficient. Ask for Navin - he's a good waiter. Also, try the dessert - ghoolubjamon, its a treat. It's a nice place to stop... More
