This is the best place in Punta del Este to try the authentic Uruguayan "chivito Canadiense". To have a superb experience order one "chop" of draft beer. And for desert give a go to one of the most delicious Uruguayan desert, "chaja". For sweet lovers try chaja with "dulce de leche". This menu will let you with all the flavours... More

Famous for their hotdogs! They have a white horseradish mustard ,, ketchup and mayonnaise. We also ordered fries and a tall frosty local beer extremely delicious.

The day we went to this restaurant, we had little time, so we looked for something that was fast. We ate pizza and drank wine. Nothing spectacular, but met our expectation.

The food is good, more like fast food, the price is average. It's a classic, when in Uruguay you have to try one of them.

You may see it full of families with kids. Many locals used to other franchises of the same chain. But "pizzeria" La Pasiva in its different locations here is expensive for the poor service an low quality food. Having other options, avoid it.

Arrived for dinner and found the place packed. We managed to find a table - it's open seating. Unbeknownst to us the place caters to families. Between children chasing each other around, without any parental discipline, and crying babies we managed to get our food. Don not recommend for a relaxing dinner.

If you want all the typical goodies of the country - chivitos with real local beef, húngaras with their famous white mustard, fainá or pizza, spectacular fresh salads of your choice of ingredients, chajá... this is THE place to eat at a moderate price and very fulfilling plates, accompanied by a local beer, wine or mineral water! Support the local... More

La Pasiva is a landmark Restaurant of Uruguay. Open all day with swift service and good fare @ very accesible prices (at times not all too clean, but that's because of high frequency of visits) Absolutely georgeous are the 'chivito canadiense'= an extremely complete tenderloin sandwich! And the 'hungaras a la plancha' a slightly spicy sausage for hot-dog enjoy!

La Pasiva is a chain restaurant. It serves hotdogs, chivitos, pastas and other meals. It is located conveniently in the heart of Gorlero and it operates all year long . Good place to go for hotdogs and beer.
