Lentil soup and Um Ali were decent, but wouldn't recommend the rest. We ordered hummus w meat - the consistency of the hummus was not quite a smooth as it should be. The meat smell on the fried kibbeh was a bit overwhelming, and the kafta was average. When we first walked in they were playing old seventies American songs... More

Emirates Palace is a beautiful landmark with no expenses saved on luxury and fine decor. The problem with that, it seems, is that they have focused so much on luxury that they did not have time to think about the taste of the food served in this particular restaurant. The 17 dirham hummus from Al Hallab tastes better than the... More

Visited this restraurant as a couple on our last night in Abu Dhabi. The primary reason for dining in this area was to see Emirates palace at the same time, however we were not that impressed by this restraurant. While the setting was ok, the food was well below standard for any meal we had while in Abu Dhabi. My... More

Many of the spots in Emirates Palace are quite nice (Mezlai, Havana Bar, etc) but I was quite literally shocked at how poor the food and service were at Diwan L'Auberge. In a city where you can get cheap Lebanese food on basically every corner, there is NO need to go here as the food is worse than what you... More

It started with the difficulty in making a reservation, followed by an unenthusiastic welcome at the entrance. Bearing in mind that this in the Emirates Palace hotel, one has some pretty high expectations pre-arrival. Menus were presented that were tatty, worn and stained by a waiter who was equally unhappy as the hostess. Ordered the drinks and food, no recommendations... More

The restaurant was below my expectations by 10 times, as it is located in one of the famous hotel in world, old frozen starters, very bad services, boring atmosphere and very expensive food menu which you can get same meals with much better tast in any lebaneis restaurant with ten times less prices
