Le chef is a witness and a trademark of old Beirut. Very affordable considering the location. I personally never felt wao about any of their plat-de-jour but I always end up grabbing a casual lunch when in the area
The place is one of the oldest restaurant at Gemmayze. Located in the heart of Gemmayze, the place is always welcoming you. Abordable for everyone. Portions are good and food is ok.

Simple local food with friendly chef/owner. The food was great value and well prepared. The service was quick, but you did not have to rush away.
