My spouse and I went there for our anniversary. This is a very nice high-end place located on the boardwalk of the Zaitunay Bay.

This is my forth time dining at Signor Sassi and each time the service has been impeccable. One is spoiled with attention. The food is always excellent and I plan to visit whenever I am in Beirut. It has a more classic/fine dining feel to it than the one in London. I love both anyway!

There were four of us in the party and we ate early by local standards so in the beginning we had the restaurant to ourselves. The service was excellent. We started with an assortment of appetizers. They were all good. I was disappointed however when I selected a chianti from the wine list and then I was told it wasn't... More

Invited a friend for dinner (party of 3). Food was great however, they try to boost the bill with "hidden" items example: While it is understandable that a Scaloppini costs between 40 and 45,000 L.L (28-30 USD) we couldn't understand the insistence on opening two bottles of plain water (that we didn't drink), the cost of a sunset bottle (80,000... I expected the same quality food as SIgnor Sassi in London, but i was disappointed! the food was average, not better than most italian restaurants like Caffe Mondo and Julias and Fionas, although i know that the concepts of all those places are different from one another. They def need some fine tuning!

We dined here becuase of the amazing view and its position on the new Marina. The food and service was better than we hoped. Bruschetta, was perfect, the freshest tomatos, hint of garlic and great olive oil. Spot on. We then had some smoked salmon wrapped around pan fried prawns. They were to die for. we then moved on to... More

Excellent staff and sublime food. When in Beirut, please visit this restaurant. We had the pleasure to taste the homemade gnocci with lobstersauce and crayfish....a havenly dish prepaired by the owner/cook, accompanied by an excellent Lebanese wine. The dessert was prepaired by the owner and we were asked to taste and review it. The staff was friendly and thoughtful. The... More

So the staff looks nice and the hostess was very friendly. However once we sat at the table whole other atmosphere. The waiters were not even paying attention to what we were ordering or the questions we were asking. Glasses were left empty. We needed napkins for dinner all there was were cocktail napkins!! We insisted until we finally got... More
