This place is not a high class restaurant. Basically you will find this place crowded with the working class people most of the time. The Prices are very cheap. You can't expect a high class food and presentation in such a cheap price. If you like food from Southern part of India, you will find most of it here. Also... More

We went here after almost two weeks of Lebanese food, obviously delicious, but when you need a change come here! Yes, it's basic, but the food is inexpensive and delicious. Nothing much to add, other than the restaurant is located in a slum, the food is absolutely tasteless for a south Indian (I have been cooking north-Indian for the past 20 years) and most importantly, it has the dirtiest kitchen I have seen in my life. Yes, it's located above a grocery store. Yes, it has plastic tables and chairs. Yes, its nothing fancy. But this is the best restaurant in Beirut - both for the food and the service. My daughter, who is a student at A.U.B., took me to Indo-Lanka for dinner one night. She had found out how good SriLankan food is!
