Excellent taste, fast service, reasonable price. I wish they add more items to their menu. How about opening your restaurants in chicago and elsewhere in USA.

Good food, different and tasty Kitchen looked clean so that was good. They just have a slight issue in food preparation, he who shouts loudest gets his order picked and prepared, staff seem to skip ticket numbers which means some people are waiting unnecessarily longer than others.

Nice flavoursome food but we had expected more meat on the bones for the money paid! Service is excellent! We enjoyed trying the different types of rice and meats

I fell in love with Al-Tazaj during my visit to Makkah city in 2006 and it has been a hot favourite ever since. The restaurant offers BBQ'd chicken prepared in a range of spicy flavours and customers can opt for rice with their meals. A must-have for all those coming to Makkah for Umra or Hajj.

I and my husband first experience with this meal was in the year 2001 when we came to Mecca for Hajj. We stayed at Hilton apartment where the Al Tajaz location in the ground floor near Ben Dawood supermarket. Their grilled chicken is our favourite. Now they also serve Habsah rice with chicken or shrimp, cole slaw, green salad, corn... More

The outlet sells only local (Watani) chicken. Therefore if you are bit late some of the most popular items are sold out. The food is very reasonably priced and generously portioned. Most of the rice item, one portion will suffice for two. If you like sweet stuff try their bousbousa, it's only 5 SR and very tasty.

The Kabsa and Mahraja special meals are very nice and a must try for Arabians and even the spice loving Indians. It is also very affordable and you can have a complete meal for two in Saudi Riyal 30 ( about $8.5-9.5). However one must not try any other thing here especially tikkas.
