The place is close to the Habiba busy shop, very nice and full with visitors around the world, they never stop any time, hygienic, delicious and cheap food, grab a table and ask for Felafel, Humos and Ghanoch and then tea

We arrived here by accident. There was no menu, they simply started spleading a plastic foil as a table cloth and brought food. Everyone got exactly the same - humus, baba ganoush, a salad, falafel, some Frensham fries and one or two additional dishes that I don'the remember a name for. Only choices were for drinks (tea or soda?). The... More

Went once, brilliant, went again! Basically four dishes, the best flafels ever, tahini and babaganoosh and chips. Mint tea and its a meal from heaven, and I don't like flafels normally!

We dint know that this restaurant is such a famous one. We randomly stopped at it without knowing that it was a vegetarian restaurant serving just humus and falafel. But when we ate those, i have no words. Best humus and falafel we have ever eaten. Now i know why lonely planet's Jordan book had this restaurant's name as Amman's... More

This was a group outing. The food was delicious and the price was just right! We ate tons of food and paid very little money! It was great!

The minute I reach Amman I go dine in Hashim, its a must! Literally in the middle of downtown and the cheapest yummiest food you could get. The quality and the authenticity of this restaurant is un-matched.

If you want falafel and hummus in Amman there are several much better places. The whole area smells of rubbish and is generally filthy. The toilets are a disgrace (remember that the people preparing and serving your food also use this). The falafel is poor quality with too much old bread used in the mix. It's not the cheapest place,... More

Good quick and cheap Jordanian style eating. Not for the faint hearted, the waiters do not speak english and it is a nightmare to order the right food; however, if you point to the dishes which are colourfully displayed, you are a winner. Very affordable, clean and delicious authentic food

Description
It's a local place that our Jordanian guide took us to and would be a real bonus to international travelers! It has fantastic food - the best we had on our 15 day trip to Israel and Jordan. All vegetarian: three different kinds of hummus, stuffed and regular felafel, fresh tomatoes and onions, what we would call French fries.
