My husband and I went there once while visiting Jaffa. We didn't want a big meal at lunch so we tried Rokach based on a recommendation from my best friend. We had a squid dish, a fish ceviche dish and a fried shrimp dish, tapas-style, and they were excellent! We washed it down with a local prosecco which was also... More

One of my favorite things to do in Tel Aviv is to just walk at sundown along the Promenade; in more that one instance that has landed me in Yafo. I enjoyed the Fish and Chips at Rokach Yam after such impromptu walk. With a seat at the bar, I had a decent view of the sea while I helped... More

Rokach Yam is a food bar located in the middle of Jaffa port. The restaurant has outdooe searing arrangement and a bar inside where you sit in close proximity to the cooks. The menu is built around tapas-size dishes of the fish and sea food cuisine. Brab bisque tasted wonderful as well as the fried octapus dish. As a couple... More

We came here with coupons for a 3 courses dinner. It was cold outside,so we have been seated around the bar ( better find a corner if you are 2 couples). You are very very close to the guys preparing the food.they didn't look so happy and so their food. All dishes are quite small ,I mean very small.I ordered as... More

Fancy shrimps, calamari some fish and a taste of holiday while in Tel Aviv? Go to Yaffo, walk down to the port and find a table. Middle December, sunny, warm, delicious food, not expensive at all with a taste of holidays.... Service is ok, nothing to write home about but the food, the setting and the atmosphere top it all.... You sit on a bar face the sea. Fresh seafood and food is prepared on the spot. Very friendly stuff. Not chip but worth it.

The food was good, small portions but interesting culinary wise. Reasonable, as this is more a tapas bar than a restaurant. They have a service problem, at their pricing and scale they should provide better service and more professional waiting staff. If you are sensitive to heat and humidity don't sit outside in the summer months.

I was really surprised to read the positive reviews about this place. Well... I felt like the chef deserves a harsh review. We had chosen this place because it looked trendy, slightly empty, but the menu looked smart. A crab bisque, which was recommended as a signature dish turned to be an over salted cup of a heavy double cream.... More

We loved the view, right be the Jaffa harbor with its little boats and fishermen - great for people-watching too. The food was superb - they specialize on sea food, and boy it was soooo good - We were a party of 5 and decided to sample many dishes. The Bisque was my favorite! Every dish was correctly cooked and... More
