Visited with 3 colleagues First of all the waitress gave us a menu. She then pointed out that the majority of the main courses were not available. We then asked for white wine. We were actually astounded to be told they had ran out of white wine!!!! This was at 7 pm not late at night ! It took a... More

A great restaurant with super tasty dishes. The feel is of a luxury restaurant, expensive but perfect.

Decent place. Service sucks like anywhere in israel but the food was tasty. Decor was ok. All in all I'll give it a 7-8

We came to celebrate a friend's birthday. 11 people. We asked for a private room and were seated in an enclosed corner which could have been fine if the waiters could get around the table; they couldn't. Three or four of us were told, after ordering a dish that was on the menu, that that particular dish was not available.... More

Visited with a bunch of colleagues at the recommendation of the local team In the end they and the rest of us were so disappointed. Starters: one failed to arrive and we waited 15 minutes for it - it was carpaccio. Mine was the smoked mackerel one fillet was just full of bones. Sent it back, no apology nothing. Main... More

Everything in this restaurant is wrong. The staff is unprofessional, the timing between the dishes is unbearable (1 hour waiting) and the main dishes came without side course ("no more potatoes in the kitchen!!!"). There are many great restaurants in Tel-Aviv, Raphael is definitely not one of them. Avoid!!!

Israel is an overly expensive country to live in as well as to visit and within that framework Raphael is an expensive restaurant, but not more so than similar chef restaurants in the country. Our experience after a number of visits over the years is that in Israeli terms it is well worth the cost, especially for the so-called weekend... More

This restaurant is considered by many-or at least its owner chef is condsidered by many as the best in the business. Due to its pricing I avoided the place but we finally ended there for lunch. At 125 NIS PP this is probably the most expensive deal in Tel Aviv. (Even Messa serves an 89 NIS business lunch). I will... More

Good value lunch menu, very good food however the need to wait 50 minutes for the main course is excessive. They have amazing bread and salad entrees.

Location, mad men type of interior dining with subdued elegance with sweet and engaging staff; albeit ,sometimes they have to be poked a bit to service. I am kosher (not kosher restaurant ) so they were incredibly accommodating and all the first courses, main courses and even desert were have to say perfect. Will be back a again and great... More
