The food didn't taste good, the menu is mostly pasta - not very authentic. All dishes were really boring and without taste. However the people were really lovely that's why we 2 stars.

We were looking for real Israeli food and based on some reviews here we ended up at this restaurant on Christmas day. We realised it was more "the place to be seen" by the locals. The food was tasteless, I was extremely dissapointed wirh a...More

On a cold Jerusalem night there is nothing better than heading to the Tmol Shilshom cafe. This cosy cafe is a gem with a small but great selection of vegetarian food. Be sure to order the soup and if you can't decide which flavour, you...More

Very cosy and welcoming place. Serves delicious local food and wine. Waiters are very friendly and prices are very reasonable. We loved the shakshouk and hot sangria.

Each menu has quotations and biographical info about a different Israeli writer. The placemats give info about Agnon and his famous work with the same title as the restaurant. We ordered multiple salads and main courses. All were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the sahalab, (A...More

I went here for coffee and books and found much more! They have good tea and coffee but also GF dishes, always a plus for me. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. Prices were reasonable. I will return!

I go to Tmol Shlilshom often- for their shakshukas and drinks! Their winter drink menu is unique but a mocha never ceases to satisfy. Their waiters are helpful and the ambience is cozy and inviting. Check out their book collection!
