A place we have known for years, changed its concept a couple of years ago to self service, an idea I less like, so we haven't eaten here for a while. We ordered a salad and a portion of of Kyle pie, both were very tasty but the portions were small. though the price was slightly lower than most places... More

Don't be fooled by a Middle Eastern name. This is a tiny "cafe Parisienne". The pastries are to die for!

Don't let the grungy exterior of this cafe fool you. Once inside you'll find attentive staff ready to make coffee to your exacting requirements. I explained a piccolo latte (one short shot of coffee please, with well texturised milk) & they delivered a perfectly executed coffee. We also had a spelt chard & goats cheese tart, vegan bounty bar, &... More

If you live in Jerusalem or just on a visit, the Mahane Yehuda Market is a must. The vegetables, the fruit, the fish, the spices, the bakeries all conspire to keep you walking. Then, when you feel that your legs are not that steady, go to Cefe Misrahi: their coffee is wonderful and a warm brioche with butter and jam... More

Enjoyed this place couple of years ego, but they changed for worse since then. Very much overpriced for "self-service" cafe. Food is nothing special

The Makhane Yehuda market is awesome, but it's exhausting. I needed a quiet spot to get a nice lunch in peace.. and I found it in Cafe Mizrachi. Tucked off of the main market street, in a quieter row of shops, this cafe was just what my soul, stomach, and tastebuds needed. It reminded me of a nice cafe in... More

Yummy yummy yummy food. I have been trying to copy their yogurt soup for years with no luck. The sabich is out of this world , all the salads are great. Sometimes it is too crowded , but it seems that everyone wants to eat here . The food is super fresh. Have eaten heer many times and never been... More

Incredulous - they took the ultimate and by far coolest and most satisfying eatery in the market, fresh and innovative and.......half killed it. Hardly a menu now - gone are the salads and amazing salads and now a rather average and unremarkable cafe. All ok but a pale imitation of former self.

Everything about this place is so great! Good vibe, terrific food, cold beer, amazing desserts, friendly happy crown made of regulars and newcomers - everybody gets the best friendly service. Good vegetarian food too.
