We stopped in here for dinner based on a recommendation from another restaurant. Two of us had the lamb chops. This was good but not great. Meat was a little chewy and the portion size was small. My sister had the Market Salad and thought...it was good. They brought out bread with our meal and the bread was soft. The Cabernet they recommended was very good. Service was also good. We had a great view of Old Jerusalem.More

Our family had our best meal in Israel at Rooftop. We happened to eat there on Tu B’Av (Israeli Valentine’s Day)- cocktails were balanced and refreshing as an aperitif and the salmon sashimi appetizer was vibrant with the sweetness only super fresh fish can give....My flank steak skewer was the special, impossibly tender with a pure, expansive beefiness. My wife’s goose breast was juicy with complex game notes; my son’s entrecôte projected the both quality of the meat and touch of the chef. The food was paired well with local wines from a carefully curated and reasonably priced list (we had a white from Galilee and Golan Heights Cabernet). When factoring in the view of Old City, gentle evening breezes, and soft music, the meal made it a nearly perfect evening.More

Unique dining experience at the top of the Mamila hotel . View , especially at sunset is magnificent and restaurant had a very open feeling . Food was great . Particularly enjoyed lamb chops and entrecôte main . Service quite good as well .More

Firstly - the place does have a stunning view of the Old City, which makes up for a lot. The restaurant itself, on the rooftop of the Mamilla Hotel, lacks charme, tables seem to have spread around at random - the part of the Bar...is nicely done though. The food was ok, not quite Chef restaurant as advertised, but well above average. The service - well, if one can call it that, had a lot to answer for. I ordered a Gin and Tonic, which came in a glas filled to the rim with ice and Gin, the tonic on the side, but alas no space to add it to the gin. We sat in front of our dirty dishes until we actually paid. On the way out I met the manager, and pointing out our misgivings about the service I was told that he actually noticed the poor service our table received. That really took me aback, and I must admit I was too flabbergasted to ask him why he did nothing to rectify the situation. The poor service was explained with the recent Covid situation, and not being able to employ trained staff. I would suggest you go up there, sit at the bar, enjoy the view with a good drink, and go eat somewhere else.More

Spectacular! Food was delicious, service was impeccable,and the view was “Devine” (Biblical and breathtaking at the same time).

We had dinner here with our friends. The service was great and the views are fantastic. I had the chicken and it was delish. They have a nice wine selection. They were very busy so I recommend making a reservation.More

First, this restaurant has a great view of Jerusalem and is open air this time of year. At sunset, you see everything in golden light and then the lights come on. Magical. Second, my husband and I had fish dishes as our mains for dinner....I had the salmon for my main and it was perfect. The desserts are great and (since I am a "modifier"), they substituted coconut ice cream on my chocolate dessert (as opposed to the ice cream described on the menu. Wonderful. Finally, on the second night, we did not have a booking, but we thought we would take a chance. We told the receptionist that we were returning for a second night, because we liked the restaurant so much. (She said she would tell the chef.) To our surprise, the chef sent out a complimentary salmon and citrus starter--which was beautiful and delicious. I love this restaurant and highly recommend it.More

This restaurant is the proverbial tourist trap. Nice room and breathtaking view. But from there it’s a steep fall. Food: limited selection and mediocre preparation. To critic the 4 dishes we had a waste of time. Not great. I noticed the steak a fellow at...another table had. The meat must have been tough and stringy. Half surgically removed in a pile and not edible. From there we go down another steep hill: service! terrible. Barely present. Perfunctory. Lots of reviews here that are mesmerizing by room and view. But that’s all there is. Have a glass of wine and then go somewhere else to eat.More

The Rooftop has the best views of Jerusalem, with excellent food, really well presented and very refined taste. The service was good, but what made it excellent was the Hostess Keren who went above & beyond to get us a table with amazing view of...the Old City, and checked on us periodically to make sure we were having a good time! I give this Restaurant a 10 for great food, setting & service!More

The restaurant has nice views overlooking Jerusalem and the food was adequate. Unfortunately service is non-existent. We had to ask the waiters to seat us. Then we had to ask them to take our order. Once the food has arrived, staff will ignore you. Several...other parties around us during the evening stood up and left because they were not served. Waiters don‘t do their job or they do it very slowly and reluctantly. I do not understand how management can tolerate such a situation in a 5-star hotel. To put the cherry on top, they charged us too much, listing a wrong price for a glass of wine on the bill. I will never return to this place.More
