A fine dining pleasure to be had is at Katys. Scrumptious food, excellent wine, and a very classy grand dame for a hostess. The soft music in the background and the charm of the restaurant makes for a very nice, romantic evening.

This restaurant is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from The Mamilla Hotel, the Waldorf Astoria and the David Citadel Hotel. It is not kosher in case you are looking for that. I was there with a big family group 2 weeks ago. We had 6 people in our party. I had the Champagne Chicken and my wife has... More

Our group of 12 was in Jerusalem for a Holy Land tour. Looking for an alternative to the buffets that are a part of tours such as ours, we decided to visit Katy's. The online reviews attracted us and the fact that we had two Katys in our group sealed the deal. We were greeted by Katy herself who provided... More

Very nice meal in an intimate atmosphere. French Mediterranean menu. We had the filet and duck and both were excellent! Katy joined us for some of the meal and an interesting person. Pricy but worth it.

We were tired of Israeli food and needed a French food fix. Katy's is a short walk from the Mamilla Hotel with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is not kosher, it is French with a Middle Eastern flair so we could have shrimp and cream sauces. Our party of 6 had a oval table right by the open window.... More

For those who like the additional little something beyond really great food come eat here. Every evening Katy is here personally serving and making you feel you are the most important person in the world. The food is diverse with great sauces. Let Katy suggest what she thinks is best. You won't regret it!

After two visits to Katy's, it is worthy of a review! I've tried their lamb, beef fillet, rainbow trout, salmon, prawns, mushroom soup, onion soup, goose liver pate, chocolate mousse, creme brûlée, and caramel pana cotta. I must admit, each of these are nicely done. It's a great place for a casual meal with friends, or an intimate meal with... More

We had such a joy dining at Katy's, what a gem! We discovered the restaurant at recommendation from the David's Citadel Hotel ( Their recommendation was not unfounded). With an authentic French atmosphere in the heart of Jerusalem Katy's did not disappoint! Great hostess, who occasionally hosts celebrities. Go and treat yourself and experience something unique that is not common... More

My wife and I went to Katys on a recommendation from our hotel and it was amazing!!!!! Katy, the owner, was so kind, friendly and generous. The meal was authentic and delicious and we really appreciated this gem of a restaurant. Having been around for over 40 years, it's obvious why this place is a success - unique, genuine, amazing...
