Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Katy’s restaurant is wonderful. Cozy, intimate and delicious food. Katy is a delightful hostess! I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and the ambiance was exceptional. Don’t miss this lovely place to eat spectacular French food in Jerusalem.

A small family run Moroccan/French/Israeli restaurant with great atmosphere. We were well looked after and well fed! Generous portions and good quality ingredients. Thank you Katy!

The food was not even a restaurant grade food, the soup tasted soapy, the salad was tasteless, as for the meat, not made well at all, tasteless and overdone. We asked for sparkling water and got tap water. Most importantly we got sick after dinning...there. The owner seemed sick and she was handling our food and drinks. Over priced and over rated!More

Amazing food, service, and ambient. Katy and the waiter were very kind and friendly with us! Excellent experience and very recommendable for anyone who visits Jerusalem, a MUST! It is really worth it, we had a lovely evening dinner. The duck, beef, salmon, soup, wine,...strudel, crêpes, and the house brioche 10/10. Thank you, Katy.More

Katy’s is an incredible restaurant with the most amazing homey-feel. Katy is so warm and welcoming and the story behind this beautiful delicious place is so touching. Came on a whim with a group of 9 other people and Katy and the other staff treated...us so well. Everyone at the table LOVED their food and couldn’t get enough(see pic) Truly want nothing but the best for this establishment because Katy deserves it. I had the french onion soup and the filet mignon with garlic sauce. 10000/10 for bothMore

Katy’s is amazing! Not only was the food delicious, but Katy was friendly and attentive. She even sat down with us for a bit and told us the history of her restaurant. Definitely recommend the filet minon!

Our visit to Katy's was the unexpected highlight of our trip to Jerusalem. We thought we were in for a good meal at a well-rated restaurant. What we got instead was phenomenal food in a warm, welcoming venue that is full of character and history....Katy herself is the definition of an admirable restauranteur. She welcomes all of her guests herself and asks them questions about where they're from and how their day has been like we're guests in her own home. She has been running her restaurant for nearly 50 years and it is one of the oldest still-running venues in Jerusalem. The food here is fantastic, bursting with flavour, and the wine selection is truly top notch. At the end of the night Katy poured us a cognac and sat with us. She told us some wonderful stories about her decades in the business. Her pride in what she does is inspiring. All restaurants would be lucky to have such a formidable leading lady.More

What a find this was thanks to trip advisor , we booked and walked to this small hidden gem in central Jerusalem, on a street with several other touristy restaurnt . What a surprise when the food arrived the home made bread an old family...recipie was a delight , butteh french onion soup without the cheese or crouton was simply the best ive ever had . Perfect steak and good Israeli wine made a meorable meal. What can we say about teh service besides the owner, a real elderly lady , there wa sone other waiter, but the service was superb . a place not to miss .More
