My husband and I enjoyed our last meal in Israel here. The staff is very friendly and the moody decor gives it the whole place a cozy feel. Our waitress recommended 2 great local white wines to complement our salmon and sea bass dishes. The tuna tartar appetizer was an excellent start to the meal; sadly, we were too full... More

Cozy restaurant with good and very friendly service. Food is good, especially the vegetarian starters. So are the mains, but choice is quite limited. Wine selection is pleasant with some really good local wines. Very good place for dining, business or private.

We have been to this restaurant many times, because we love the setting and the menu. But it has been the past two times now that the food, despite looking fresh and delicious, has been excessively salty. It seems the chef and his/her assistants do not know how to dosage the amount of fancy (and otherwise delicious) sea salt they... More

We wend there for friday dinner. Beautifull restaurant, the atmosphere inside is young and fun like in a cocktail bar. The food was good and the service was excellent. After being many time in the city I think its the first choice for dinner. Check to menu before you go it is not cheap. Enjoy

The food here is super fresh and creative blending Mediterranean cuisine with other other influences including Asian and French. Four of us dined at Chakra on a Wednesday night. We arrived at 6:30pm and were seated right away as there were only a few people there, it opens at 6pm (restaurant was full by 8pm). Servers were tall, handsome, pleasant... More

A wonderful experience in Jerusalem. Everything was delicious. I especially loved the cauliflower with Tehina. Onion soup was sublime. Tehina ice cream tastes like the most delicious Halava. And the corvina was beautifully prepared and served. Just be sure you know this is not a kosher restaurant.

I spent a few days in Jerusalem and tried many of their hot spot restaurants and Chakra was by far the best meal! The restaurant is fun and has an open kitchen. The food was local but simply delicious! And the wine choices are endless. The wait staff was so nice and helpful, making recommendations, helping us decide, and bringing... More

If your looking for a restaurant in Jerusalem that is opened on Friday, this place is great. Book ahead, they fill up quickly.. Sit at the bar if you want to meet interesting people We shared four appetizers and had glasses of wine. All good. Upscale restaurant with a sofisticated vibe.

Chakra is a trendy restaurant and mainly occupied by tourists. The food is good but not that special comparant to the prices. A good thing is that they make good cocktails!

When we arrived at 41 king George, we could not locate Chakra. We then discovered that it is located down a path from king George in the park. The food is very tasty, the atmosphere is relaxing and the service is very good (but not cheap). It is a nice oasis from the busy streets of Jerusalem.

Thank lorne f
