We had the garlic lemon chicken. It was delicious and plenty for the price. Great bread accompanied meal. Staff was friendly and understood English.

Our last night in Jerusalem, our hotel recommended we try this spot as we wanted somewhere within reasonable walking distance (we were staying at the American Colony Hotel) and casual. The service was excellent - very friendly and helpful and the food was good as well. Our waiter told us that he had been at the restaurant for 14 years... More

Askadinya serves some menu items that I have not seen in my visits to Israel and Jerusalem...dishes like beef stroganoff and chicken cordon bleu ...and they do them well...the steak here is hands down one of the very best we have had in this region as well. This restaurant is not in a... More

Very good veal fillet (which is actually a fillet mignon) and must order the askadinya platter . For alcoholic beverages I recommend the manhatten, it's definitely one of the best manhaytens I've had.

This restaurant was truly the most memorable meal of our entire trip. Tucked in an authentically Arab neighborhood in a former home converted into a restaurant (actually we walked into a real house next door accidentally and were invited to stay for coffee!). The food is prepared with soul only capable of a chef who knows exactly what they are... More

A wonderful dining and hang out experience! My fiancé and I love the ambience of the place. The renovated old Palestinian house is full of character, whether you sit in the wine cellar or on the terrace. Food is always fresh and delicious. Their most famous is the Azkedinya platter. Service is also outstanding. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were looking for a restaurant for dinner, during Shabbat, so we looked on TripAdvisor. We found this restaurant and thought we would give it a try. I am soooo glad we did. The government changed the street number last year to 21 instead of 11 so it was a little confusing. We found it, it's not... More
