A small restaurant with big heart and magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea! Classy, professional, great vibe, neat and tidy. Food is plenty full and delicious. The side dishes they bring with the mains can feed an army! Be sure to book in advance.

The Kalamaris is one of 3 restaurants at Stella Maris. To my opinion, the Kalamaris is the best of the 3 (regarding food quality and taste). Though the second highest of the 3 restaurants, the view towards Mediterranean Sea and city of Haifa is very nice.

Excellent in all aspects food, service, site view. We were quite a big group and we had meat dishes, fish and wine. A very rich side dishes wete provided. Kids were hiven attractive dishes so we had an excellent afternoon. After that we got to the near Saint Elias church and went down through the cable to the beach.

We had a very nice meal overall for the three of us just willing to have a place to meet in a nice atmosphere. Tried a set of salads and various meat. The salads were great, but one of the meat dishes had to be returned to the waiter for it wasn't medium rare as requested. However, the second attempt... More

Went there for our anniversary. Turns out, February is a bad time to go. Well known as a seafood restaurant, but neither crab nor lobster were in season so we didn't get what we wanted. Very hard to catch on the phone, took us 3 hours and 13 calls to get someone to answer the phone. All in all, the... More

I have the pleasure to be treated to a visit to Kalamaris by a business friend once a year whilst in Haifa. Perfect food, good service, incredible view. Excellent wine. To quote a rather famous guy: SO GOOD ! Really: Best food I have eaten in the North.

We eat a lot, all over the world and of course in Israel. We're in Haifa quite often but have never eaten at Kalamaris until this week. We sat in the inner room which was much warmer (January) and cozier. It was decorated for Christmas and had a lovely view of the sea. The small salads were very tasty and... More

- Get the salad selection. Plates of hummus, olives, tabouli, tahini etc just keep coming out. This appetizer filled us up - The calamari/shrimp platter with garlic sauce was amazingly fresh - Service was friendly but slow - Views were A +

My regular place when in Haifa. Tasty food that comes in large portion dishes, pitas (bread), pickles and some basic salads are for free when ordering entrée. Stick to the sea food dishes – that’s their professionality, other dishes can be blend. Spectacular view of Haifa bay from most tables, good for romantic meals.
