My wife and I thought the views of the city of Istanbul were stunning. Far better than from the Galata Tower. And free. We were blessed with great weather for the time of year (April) and just enjoyed the lovely atmosphere over a Turkish coffee or two. Recommended.

It was very special place before, now more tourists come here and people who work there they don't care that much about customers! Everything is in rush, prices are honestly high for that kind of place + they cheat us with a bill, and when started to find out why the total price is so high they said ok ok..we... More

The views from this place of Istanbul are amazing and beautiful, we used the railway to get here and it was a great experience, then my boyfriend and I drank a turkish coffee at a restaurant at the top of this hill, you can take a walk around this area and you will see plenty of interesting places

Don't miss out on Aziyade Restaurant named after the famous book of Pierre Loti a french author who fell in love with an Ottoman girl. We had the Mixed Grill and it was exquisite, the Yoruk Tandoori is nice for fat lovers, don't miss the deep fried phyllo pastry with pastrami and the stuffed meatballs, much more delicious than the... This area is high above sea level. It has shops and cafes, one of them is right at the top of the cliff providing a stunning view of the city. There are a couple of telescopes you can use for one Turkish lira. The place is one that shouldn't be missed.

It is worth taking the lift to the top floor terrace (the downstairs restaurant is OK though) because the view is magnificent. Service is very slow (but the waitress was very nice) which can be a problem with small children. The food was standard Turkish restaurant fare. The terrace is NOT wheelchair accessible unlike the restaurant downstairs.

I think it is worth it to get on the cable car an go up to the Pierre Loti Cafe: the different view you get of the city is interesting all by itself. There is water in front of you, but for a change it's not the Bosphorus, but the Golden Horn, in all of its extension. It was a... More

We ride on a cable car and brought us to the top of Pier Loti Cafe where you can enjoy a relaxing moment while sipping a very famous coffee and tea of Turkey. You will truly enjoy the 360 degree view of Bhosporus.
