Good fish and excellent service. Our second time at Eftelya and we just confirmed the excellent service and quality of food. The only fish restaurant in Turkey that prepared the shrimp as I have asked for... Recommended!!!

Service second to none. Views spectacular. Food is amazing. Prices are steep but value is good. Book in advance for groups 6 or more

Excellent fish plates. Their tomato salad is very special. Most of the mess are excellent. My favoured is hams, during the season.

First of all it's expensive if you compare it with other fish restaurants next to it, the service was average and I definetely will not go there again.

Eftelya has gotten really worse. Last time we went there they were deliberately allowing smokers to smoke inside. Patrons would not bother when asked. Will not go back.

And one of the advices was Eftelya fish restaurant. It is beside the street by the sea. Has a rather big balcony on the ground floor.. We later discovered that it has a terrace on the top floor. You do get a view from the balcony but it must be magnificent on the terrace. The service is very good. The... More

Been there with former colleague to eat fish. Good starters (as used you can pick up among the ones they are showing) and delicious main grilled fish suggested by waiter

If you want to eat french fries and coke, maybe it can be slightly better than mcdonald, although the price is going to be 2 times higher. Concerning fish and starters the food is not good at all and prices are almost comparable to those of the most expensive restaurants in istanbul. The best thing you can enjoy is the... More

We visited with my colleagues yesterday. Appetizers were so good. Grilled Calamari was tasty. We ordered a seasonal fish as caller "Dülger". This was perfect. Service was so good. They did an excellent job without interrupting you. Bıll was acceptable too.

Staying in Besiktas

Neighbourhood Profile
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
