We ordered baklava, tea and turkish coffee and all of them are good taste with a good price. Everybody must go to taksim sutis at least one time for breakfast or afternoon break.

I wouldn't rate as the best, but one of the cafés you may visit when you are walking around taxim area. They offer a big choice of Turkish sweets. They know how to make coffee and make their tips. I'm always surprised with the way they approach their customers. It's nice! Restaurant is clean and waiters are in clean uniform.

Our host was the highlight of my time here. He is Turkish form Kurdish background. He was very pleasant and a great host with a fantastic smile. The most smile, welcome and pleasantry I got for my whole week in Turkey, nice way to end my week. We were an internationally mixed group he was warm and welcoming towards us.... More

We went for basic good Turkish food and that is what we got. We also went for a window seat so we could watch the square while we ate, upstairs with a window table. Service was reasonably quick to take the orders and not very long to deliver the selections either. We voted the chicken skewers excellent. You may have... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
