Less famous than K-Gulluoglu, very good quality however (and no extra long qeueing...). Fistikli Baklava is really awesome and crunchy!

My niece who lives in Istanbul took me there for the pure joy of superb Baklava. The coffee is superb, there is a video playing of the history of the family that owns the place and the house is packed with smiling locals. Don't miss. It has large front windows that open to the street, so find a seat and... More

The baklava from Koskeroglu is a superior product. I thought this is the best baklava I've tasted in Greece and Turkey. It stays fresh even after keeping it a few days. While I'm not a fan of lokum theirs were delicious and light on the sugar.

Im addicted to their desserts. This place is best in town. I have been in Gaziantep , which is the origin of Baklava, several times; Koskeroglu has the same quality. So this is a must-eat location in Istanbul!

Stopped at this shop for their baklava. Excellent! Had the ice cream too. It's a bit out of the way but worth the trip. Just a block from the Galata bridge.

I love Turkish desserts and Koskeroglu produces the best. I love their Gelin Bohcasi and Kuru Baklava a lot.

Staying in Karakoy

Neighbourhood Profile
Karakoy
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at the mouth of the Golden Horn. Perhaps the city’s most historically significant area, it’s currently one of the most happening parts of town as well. Here street vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks of the Horn where the views of major attractions across the water rival Karakoy’s own key attractions, such as the iconic 14th century Galata Tower and the Museum of Modern Art. A major hub for local and international waterborne traffic, Istanbul’s commercial and maritime heritage remains as relevant and evident as ever in Karakoy. Commuter ferries mingle with luxury cruise liners at its busy port, ensuring a continuously cosmopolitan flow of people..
